Abstract: The Distributed System for Scientific Collections (DiSSCo) Research Infrastructure (RI) will operate a number of e-services. This deliverable under Task 8.1 proposes to add a Tool to these services to be managed by DiSSCo RI, and to be continuously fed by DiSSCo Institutions and National Nodes (NN). Its main asset is to generate search outputs highlighting the specialisations and expertise existing among the community of DiSSCo RI users and content providers. The Specialisation tool can provide illustrations, schemes and lists of measurable data on the Natural Sciences Collections (NSC), on the community's assets for collection management and digitization.
